Sefa's story is over.

Hello dear readers, I am here to tell you about this last post and what this fascinating year has

brought me. An adventure that started with excitement, anxiety, and happiness ended with a wonderful experience. A year ago we settled in a small village in the north of Italy and together with seven other people from different cultures we completed a year of minimizing our lives. It was a unique

opportunity to be part of Vitality and to spend a year full of what it brought me, to be in this story and to witness different stories, to communicate with dozens of people from dozens of countries. From my point of view, since I arrived, I have had difficulties in many areas due to lack of communication and not having enough knowledge about the Erasmus program, but I didn't give up and I always appreciated that people always motivated me, and helped me in every field. I made progress in the field of permaculture by learning new things that I didn't know, that I was missing. I was helping chefs by cooking in the kitchen in various youth exchanges. Sending young people from Italy abroad, meeting new people, and discovering Italy were exactly in this project. Living with people from seven different countries and working for the same cause was instructive, intriguing, and enjoyable for me. I can say that collaboration and teamwork bring success.

In a world that often feels divided, there is a growing movement toward unity, sustainability, and cultural exchange. Volunteering in a village, immersing in permaculture practices, and living with individuals from different countries was a unique opportunity to experience these values firsthand. This article shares the transformative journey of volunteering in a village, the powerful lessons learned through permaculture, and the profound impact of intercultural living.

Taking a step away from the hustle and bustle of city life, volunteering in a village introduces individuals to the simplicity and serenity of rural life. In villages surrounded by lush landscapes, you can witness nature's and humanity's interconnectedness. This experience fosters a deep appreciation for the environment and develops a sense of responsibility toward sustainable living. We, the Vitality 2022 team, had the chance to do this for a year and I will talk about it everywhere I go to make these programs reach more people and help and recommend everyone to share this experience at least once in their life.

I would like to thank Associazione Vagamondo, New Wellness Education family for giving me this opportunity and the six volunteers and coordinators who helped me.

I would also like to thank the new 2023 Vitality volunteers for everything and wish them a pleasant year. Goodbye
