Dear Vitality team,
I cannot believe that my volunteering experience in Bergolo has come to an end. It feels just like yesterday that we arrived here, ready to make a difference in this beautiful community. And to find Raul's suitcase (Only originals remember such important details, of course)
I just wanted to take a moment to express how impressed and inspired I am by all of you. Your dedication, hard work, and passion for helping others is truly remarkable. I am amazed by how much 7 volunteers from different countries can achieve together! Sefa, Angie, Sofi, Milli, Tim and Raul - my best teammates-volunteers ever!
And of course, we were not able to be where we are now without our coordinators, supervisors, short-term volunteers, trainers, facilitators and participants of all the projects we hosted. (There are too many names and I'm afraid that I'll forget someone so just think about yourself in this sentence if your name wasn't mentioned before) It feels like there was no a single wrong person or cat on our journey. Everything and everyone happened to be on the right time in the right place. It takes a special kind of people to give back to their community in such a selfless way, and I am proud to know beautiful people like you.
It is wonderful to see how this experience has helped us grow both personally and professionally, and I am confident that it has prepared us for the next steps in our journey.
Over the past year, we have worked tirelessly to improve the vitality situation of Bergolo. We have planted our sustainable garden, hosted health and wellness projects, concerts, festivals, workshops, and provided access to intercultural communication in schools. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and I am proud of all that we have accomplished together.
As I reflect on our time here, I am struck by the incredible sense of community that exists in Bergolo. The people here are kind, generous, and welcoming, and I have been touched by your warmth and lightness.
I want to thank each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication to this project. Without your commitment and passion, we would not have been able to achieve all that we have. It has been an honor to work alongside you, and I feel grateful to have had this experience with such a wonderful group of people.
Although my time in Bergolo is coming to a close, I know that the impact we have made will continue to be felt for years to come. We have planted seeds of vitality that will grow and flourish long after we have left this place.
I'm sure, there are much more opportunities for you to continue to make a positive impact and pursue your passions. Your commitment and enthusiasm will undoubtedly benefit those around you, and I have no doubt that you will thrive. Keep up the fantastic work, and know that I am cheering you on every step of the way. You guys are truly incredible.
