Despite our sentimental instinct to be sad about endings in life, I encourage us to celebrate completion. This week we celebrated the end of several things. First of all, this week September imperceptibly became October. Second of all, we officially brought the Summer season to an end by installing and turning up the heaters. And third of all, we said our farewells to the participants of the training course "The Journey of Labels", therefore concluding the project season of Bergolo.
As September nonchalantly transitioned into October, so did the Office of Vagamondo. Thanks to the efforts of volunteers, spooky season has entered the workspace. And to make it even spookier, the electricity has left together with September, leaving the office in the dark for a little while.
Due to the absence of any source of light or internet in the office, we kept ourselves busy by cleaning the apartments and turning up the heaters. The chilly air of Bergolo has brought the houseplants from the balcony to the cozy windowsills of volunteers' apartments. Now we can enjoy the fog, rain, and fall from the inside of our lovely home, curled up with a good book or a Harry Potter marathon.
During the latest training course in Bergolo (The Journey of Labels), a new trend among the team has taken place. The Office of Vagamondo is no longer in silence - almost always someone is having their guitar lessons on the comfy sofas. Will this trend keep us entertained and hooked for long enough to become professional guitarists? I sure hope so! Anyhow, if that happens and we are ready to perform, there will be notifications about an upcoming event in the theater of Bergolo, starring self-taught musicians.
With the end of the project "Journey of Labels," we cross the finish line of the race called project season. Still with warm memories in our minds about the projects that took place in Bergolo this summer, we gathered around a bonfire and celebrated the end - the end of something exciting and colorful that transitions into a peaceful and well-deserved break. Now time for reflection, self-growth, hobbies, and generating new ideas awaits us.
Thank you for an amazing race! It was a blast!
