Hello one last time,
It’s Remy here. After 12 months, my time as a volunteer in the ESC program has officially come to an end. This year has been a mix of learning, working, and meeting people, and now it’s time to move on to the next phase.
During this experience, I’ve gained valuable skills in youth work, administration, and project management - things I didn’t expect to become so familiar with, but now I'm proudly adding them to my CV list.
I've met so many inspiring people. This provoke me to think more about my future, my interests and needs. That's how I discovered new hobby for myself - photography. I found inspiration in capturing festive moments during the projects and community gatherings we had here in Bergolo.
I also faced and overcame some personal challenges, getting along with different people, learning acceptance and tolerance. These moments of growth have been important for me, both personally and professionally.
Looking back, I can say this year was productive and it worth it. The volunteering is always an unknown pass, but I've learned it can bring you to new horizons. To everyone who's reading this I would wish to have this experience and especially if you feel like you need to change your life. I’ve left with new perspectives and skills that I know will serve me well in the future.
Thanks to everyone who was with me during this experience. It’s been a year to remember.
