Ciao a tutti!
Sophie here ready to sprinkle some vitality vibes through this post ✨
As we are heading in the last months of our volunteering experience we are all becoming aware of the time ticking above our heads. Not so positive thought right? Well yes and no..
It was only inevitable that at some point our volunteering would end.
Some of us, have a little more time (Sefa I am looking at you 🌚) but for others, time is approaching faster (Yes, I am talking about the three originals, Raúl, Mia and Tim) 😭
Anyhow, what we are slowly starting to realize, is that despite the hardships of our volunteering, it is important to stick together, have fun and enjoy our togetherness as much as we can! This week actually provided us with the opportunities for that.
One occasion was Friday, when we went to Alba to present Vitality and the Erasmus plus world to teenagers. To be more specific, we were invited by Informagiovani of Alba, the youth center that provides educational information to young people. For this trip, it was the three originals and me. There, we communicated our work and our experience to them. In the end we did our best to plant some seeds to their heads, that hopefully one day will sprout 🌱
Of course since our presentation was a success, we needed to celebrate. First stop was a sushi place in Alba 🍱
I can truthfully say I ate till my stomach almost exploded. After this, we decided we needed some movement, so we went to explore two near villages Diano D’alba and Montelupo. The latter is a village fully dedicated to wolves. Everywhere there were paintings or sculptures about them 🐺
This day was particularly beautiful because we got to find ourselves in a relaxed environment, bonding over food and good quality conversations!
There was even a little bit of romance between Raúl and one wolf we met 😏
Another opportunity, was Saturday evening when we had pizza night. It was actually the first event in a long time that volunteers gathered all together. We drunk, danced and ate some really delicious pizzas made by Raúl and Milli.
Desert was not missed, as I had prepared my famous Oreo truffles with a small twist..
I added peanut butter (My biggest love in life 😍)
All together like the old times 🥰
By the way in other news, the life in office is still going on. Someone would think that since it is winter it would be deadly quiet but no!
Some of us were dealing with sending projects, some others are progressing with their personal projects. Others are doing a little bit of both or even more...
For now take an image of Milli dealing with her own personal project. She started just this week with the help of Stefano and I can promise that great things will be created out of her hands 🤩
And an image of Tim presenting France in this week’s school presentation. Tim you are famous! How do you feel about it? 😚
So..That was it for now. I hope you are having a wonderful week! Do not forget to spend time with loved ones these days and spread some extra kindness to yourselves and to the world around you 🤟❤️
